Spatial domain analysis of late ventricular potentials. Intraoperative and thoracic correlations. [PDF]
For investigation of late potentials seen on the signal-averaged electrocardiogram, intracardiac and thoracic distributions of terminal activity were analyzed in 16 patients undergoing cryosurgery for ventricular tachycardia after remote myocardial infarction.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Geology of the Central Sivas Basin (Turkey)
This paper presents a revised geological map at the 1/50,000 scale of the Central Sivas Basin together with a synthetic stratigraphic chart and cross-sections. The map covers an area of approximately 9840 km² within the Eastern Anatolian orogen.

Autoregressive moving average modeling of late reverberation in the frequency domain [PDF]
In this paper, the late part of a room response is modeled in the frequency domain as a complex Gaussian random process. The autocovariance function (ACVF) and power spectral density (PSD) are theoretically defined from the exponential decay of the late reverberation power.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Human cytomegalovirus pUL79 is an elongation factor of RNA polymerase II for viral gene transcription. [PDF]
In this study, we have identified a unique mechanism in which human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) protein pUL79 acts as an elongation factor to direct cellular RNA polymerase II for viral transcription during late times of infection.
