MetF‐Dependent Methionine Biosynthesis Is Required for Mycobacterium tuberculosis Survival and In Vivo Persistence

MetF is essential for both in vitro and in vivo growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, whereas MetE, previously considered essential in vitro, is dispensable in vivo. Antimicrobial Resistance of Serratia marcescens Recovered From Aquatic Environments: A Review

Serratia marcescens is a gram‐negative bacillus forming biofilms and showing multidrug resistance. Review (2019–2024) included 13 studies, 90 aquatic isolates. High resistance to β‐lactams, including carbapenems. Genes: blaOXA‐48, blaTEM‐1, aac(6′)‐Ic. Aquatic environments are reservoirs, requiring monitoring and control to prevent spread.
