Previous studies have demonstrated an association between lymphatic vessels and diseases caused by bacterial infections. Listeria monocytogenes (LM) bacterial infection can affect multiple organs, including the intestine, brain, liver and spleen, which can be fatal.

Acute neurologic presentation of a 2‐year‐old standardbred colt with multicentric diffuse large B cell lymphoma

Summary Lymphoma in horses is uncommon and rarely diagnosed as a cause of ataxia. This case report describes a 2‐year‐old Standardbred cryptorchid colt who presented with acute onset of grade 3–4/5 spinal ataxia in all four limbs, with the hindlimbs more severely affected than forelimbs and severe proprioceptive deficits.

India ink introduced into the cranial cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) compartment of Alligator diffuses along the spinal cord and exits the spinal compartment using perineural flow, resulting in a prominent “ink cuff” forming at the base of the spinal nerve. In Alligator, the region of the ink cuff is drained by a small lymphatic vessel.
