Hierarchical DNA Memory Based on Nested PCR [PDF]
This paper presents a hierarchical DNA memory based on nested PCR. Each DNA strand in memory consists of address blocks and a data block. In order to access specific data, we specify the order of the address primers, and nested PCR are performed by using these primers.

Evaluation of Group specific Nested PCR for detection of Bluetongue virus [PDF]
During the present study RT-PCR and nested PCR was evaluated for the detection of BTV in blood samples collected from suspected cases of bluetongue. Due to conserved nature, NS1 gene was targeted for the development of partial length and nested PCR assay.

Detection of Candida albicans by Nested PCR
A nested PCR assay was developed for the diagnosis of Candida albicans infection. A segment of the C. albicans beta-tubulin gene was amplified in this assay that was sensitive with the detection limit of 10 fg DNA of C. albicans. This assay was found to be specific by obtaining the negative results with 13 organisms (5 other Candida, 2 Cryptococcus, 3 ...

Detection of Mycobacterium bovis in bovine and bubaline tissues using nested-PCR for TbD1. [PDF]
In the present study, a nested-PCR system, targeting the TbD1 region, involving the performance of conventional PCR followed by real-time PCR, was developed to detect Mycobacterium bovis in bovine/bubaline tissue homogenates.

Leptospirosis diagnosis using Nested-PCR [PDF]
Leptospirosis is a worldwide sanitary problem. Its clinical signs resemble that of other diseases like Dengue and Flu, and it is difficult to distinguish between them. Currently available diagnostic methods shown low sensitivity and specificity. Efforts have been made to develop simpler, faster and more efficient diagnostic methods.

Performance of nested-RT-PCR assays for Zika and Dengue detection
Arboviruses represent a public health problem in developing countries. Accurate diagnosis has been challenging in Dengue virus endemic countries, especially since the introduction of the Zika and Chikungunya viruses.

Nested RT-PCR in a Single Closed Tube
There are several methods now in widespread use for detecting and characterizing specific RNA targets. These methods include in situ hybridization, Northern blotting, dot or slot blot, RNase protection assay, and reverse transcription coupled to polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
