Effects of Dictyophora polysaccharide on cerebellar Purkinje cell degeneration in a chronic alcohol mouse model

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
In an ethanol (EtOH)‐treated mouse model, increases in the NLRP3 inflammasome proteins, PC degeneration, and motor coordination disorders were observed. DIP suppressed the NLRP3‐ASC‐caspase‐1 signaling pathway, and alleviated the motor deficits and cerebellar pathological changes in chronic EtOH‐treated mice.

Avicularin Treatment Ameliorates Ischemic Stroke Damage by Regulating Microglia Polarization and its Exosomes via the NLRP3 Pathway

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Neuroscience
Background: Avicularin (AL), an ingredient of Banxia, has anti-inflammatory properties in cerebral disease and regulates polarization of macrophages, but its effects on ischemic stroke (IS) damage have not been studied.

Mapping Molecular Pathways of Multiple Sclerosis: A Gene Prioritization and Network Analysis of White Matter Pathology Transcriptomics

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objectives Rapid advances in transcriptomics have driven efforts to identify deregulated pathways in multiple sclerosis (MS) tissues, though many detected differentially expressed genes are likely false positives, with only a small fraction reflecting actual pathological events. Robust, integrative methods are essential for accurately understanding the

Genome‐Wide Aggregated Trans Effects Analysis Identifies Genes Encoding Immune Checkpoints as Core Genes for Rheumatoid Arthritis

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective The sparse effector “omnigenic” hypothesis postulates that the polygenic effects of common single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) on a typical complex trait are mediated by trans effects that coalesce on expression of a relatively sparse set of core genes.
