CATALOG OF 93 NOVA LIGHT CURVES: CLASSIFICATION AND PROPERTIES [PDF]

open access: yesAstronomical Journal, 2010
We present a catalog of 93 very-well-observed nova light curves. The light curves were constructed from 229,796 individual measured magnitudes, with the median coverage extending to 8.0 mag below peak and 26% of the light curves following the eruption all the way to quiescence.

The NOVA classification system: A critical perspective in food science

Trends in Food Science and Technology, 2021
Abstract Background Although the consumer enjoys many benefits provided by the current food processing technology, some health professionals and digital influencers suggest that there is little benefit and serious harm that could be due to poor nutrition, which was caused by the consumption of processed foods (PF).

Automatic Classification of Dwarf Nova

2019
Dwarf nova is an abundant subtype of cataclysmic variable star with frequent eruptions. This binary star is a semi-close binary system consisting of a late dwarf secondary star with loch lobes and a White Dwarf host star. Finding more dwarf novae can help us to study the dynamic evolution of the system and many complex physical processes.

ROMAN COARSE WARES IN FABRATERIA NOVA AN ATTEMPT OF CLASSIFICATION

Spectroscopic and Photometric Analysis of Novae: A New Classification Method

Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 1997
This study deals with the relationship between the absolute visual magnitude at maximum and the rate of decline (MMRD or Mv -- t3) for classical novae. Considering the most reliable data including the nebular expansion parallax method for 24 galactic novae, we find that there are two distinct kinds of galactic novae.

Venusian novae (Astra): Classification and associations to different geological environments

Solar System Research, 2007
On the Venusian surface, there can be found a rather large population of structures with prominent radial features. The term “nova” or “astrum/astra” are used to describe this special group of volcanotectonic structures with a stellate fracture pattern radiating around a central summit or fracture.
