Spheroid culture to select theoretical therapeutic drugs in intravascular large B‐cell lymphoma
Abstract Intravascular large B‐cell lymphoma (IVLBCL) is a rare type of extranodal large B‐cell lymphoma that is characterized by the proliferation of lymphoma cells in the lumina of small vessels. Recent progress uncovering the genetic characteristics associated with MYD88/CD79B mutations has stimulated interest in the use of drugs targeting B‐cell ...

Aim of this study is to investigate drugs that modulate GGGGCC repeat aggregation, a key feature in neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS and FTD. The research emphasizes the role of the C9orf72 gene, which is implicated in these disorders, and focuses on G‐quadruplex (G4) DNA structures formed by these repeats.

Labeling of Unique Sequences in Double-Stranded DNA at Sites of Vicinal Nicks Generated by Nicking Endonucleases [PDF]
We describe a new approach for labeling of unique sequences within dsDNA under nondenaturing conditions. The method is based on the site-specific formation of vicinal nicks, which are created by nicking endonucleases (NEases) at specified DNA sites on ...

Inhibition of deoxyribonucleases by phosphorothioate groups in oligodeoxyribonucleotides
The Rp- and Sp-diastereomers of the phosphorothioate-containing oligonucleotide d[ApAp(S)ApA] have been synthesized. They and the tetramer d[ApApApA] were tested as substrates for staphylococcal nuclease, DNase II and spleen phosphodiesterase. For digestions with DNase I these oligonucleotides were converted to the 5'-phosphorylated derivates.

CRKL but not CRKII contributes to hemin‐induced erythroid differentiation of CML
Abstract Destruction of erythropoiesis process leads to various diseases, including thrombocytopenia, anaemia, and leukaemia. miR‐429‐CT10 regulation of kinase‐like (CRKL) axis involved in development, progression and metastasis of cancers. However, the exact role of miR‐429‐CRKL axis in leukaemic cell differentiation are still unknown.

Reactive oxygen species are signaling molecules that modulate plant reproduction
Abstract Reactive oxygen species (ROS) can serve as signaling molecules that are essential for plant growth and development but abiotic stress can lead to ROS increases to supraoptimal levels resulting in cellular damage. To ensure efficient ROS signaling, cells have machinery to locally synthesize ROS to initiate cellular responses and to scavenge ROS

Analysis of efficiency of purification of HEX-oligonucleotides obtained by modified deblocking
A new way of deblocking of synthetic hexachlorofluorescein-oligodeoxyribonucleotides (HEX-ODN) prevents the modification of the label and the accumulation of difficult to separated by-product.
