Rationalising sequence selection by ligand assemblies in the DNA minor groove : the case for thiazotropsin A [PDF]
DNA-sequence and structure dependence on the formation of minor groove complexes at 5′-XCTAGY-3′ by the short lexitropsin thiazotropsin A are explored based on NMR spectroscopy, isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), circular dichroism (CD) and ...

Antibodies elicited by defined oligodeoxyribonucleotide sequences
Antibodies to the oligodeoxyribonucleotides d(pT)3, d(pT)4, d(pT)6 and d(pA-A-T-T) were elicited in rabbits by immunization with electrostatic complexes of the respective haptens with methylated bovine serum albumin (MBSA). The antisera were assayed by complement fixation using denatured DNA's of various sources as antigens.

In the context of chronic hyperglycemia, a DDR is initiated, leading to the pathological activation of DNA‐PKcs in the diabetic heart. This activated DNA‐PKcs directly interacts with and phosphorylates YAP1 at Thr226, thereby increasing the nuclear expression of YAP1.

Abstract Camels possess exceptional adaptability, allowing them to withstand extreme temperatures in desert environments. They conserve water by reducing their metabolic rate and regulating body temperature. The heart of the camel plays a crucial role in this adaptation, with specific genes expressed in cardiac tissue that are essential for mammalian ...

Spheroid culture to select theoretical therapeutic drugs in intravascular large B‐cell lymphoma
Abstract Intravascular large B‐cell lymphoma (IVLBCL) is a rare type of extranodal large B‐cell lymphoma that is characterized by the proliferation of lymphoma cells in the lumina of small vessels. Recent progress uncovering the genetic characteristics associated with MYD88/CD79B mutations has stimulated interest in the use of drugs targeting B‐cell ...
