Implementation of the ORIC Magnetic Field Measurements [PDF]
The experimental details and methods employed in an extensive remapping of the magnetic field of the Oak Ridge Isochronous Cyclotron (ORIC) were reported previously. The medium- to high-field data (from 12 to 20 kgauss) have been Fourier analyzed and each of the coefficients parameterized in terms of the currents in the main coil, trim, harmonic and ...

Stability of smaller oriC plasmids in M. bovis.
Schematic representation of genomic oriC region, IRR plasmids and predicted organisation of the oriC region following integration of different IRR plasmids. Southern blot analysis of EcoRI-PstI digested DNA probed with DIG-labelled probes targeting ampR (

A fully compensated synthetic antiferromagnet (SAF) multilayer exhibits a uniform state at zero field, without skyrmions. We use a SAF bias system to provide RKKY‐mediated exchange bias to the SAF multilayer, promoting zero‐field skyrmion stabilization and polarity control.

Filigree in Istria: From the "brotherhood and unity" to multiculturalism
The aim of the paper is a diachronic research of the Albanian minority engaged with filigree production and the relationships (of power) between minorities present today in Istria. The text is motivated by three factors. Firstly because of the prevailing

In-vitro helix opening of M. tuberculosis oriC by DnaA occurs at precise location and is inhibited by IciA like protein. [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M.tb), the pathogen that causes tuberculosis, is capable of staying asymptomatically in a latent form, persisting for years in very low replicating state, before getting reactivated to cause active infection. It is

Host specificity of mollicutes oriC plasmids: functional analysis of replication origin
Recently, arti®cial oriC plasmids containing the chromosomal dnaA gene and surrounding DnaA box sequences were obtained for the mollicutes Spiroplasma citri and Mycoplasma pulmonis.

By leveraging strong antiferromagnetic coupling, radiation‐tolerant synthetic antiferromagnetic synaptic devices are developed. Their intrinsic nonlinearity emulates neuronal activation, while linear and symmetric conductance modulation mimics synaptic plasticity.
