Total Synthesis of (+)‐Disorazole Z1
Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.The first total synthesis of disorazole Z1, a highly up to picomolar active cytotoxic natural product, is presented. An acyclic carbon chain containing a chiral quaternary carbon center surrounded by two chiral secondary alcohols was synthesized and combined with a functionalized diene‐stannane to obtain the carbon skeleton of one half of disorazole Z1.
