Advancements in Mass Spectrometry‐Based Glycomics in Food and Nutritional Science

open access: yesMass Spectrometry Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This review highlights advancements in mass spectrometry (MS)‐based glycomics in food and nutritional science. Carbohydrates, which are vital for human health, exhibit complex structures, making their analysis challenging. MS has become an indispensable tool for elucidating the structures of carbohydrates, including glycans, through soft ...

3D‐Printed Crosslinked Nanocellulose‐MXene Hydrogels and Aerogels with High Strength and Conductivity

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This study presents a robust strategy for 3D printing conductive, mechanically resilient MXene–CNF composite structures using a single‐step freeze‐induced crosslinking method. The printed architectures remain stable in both wet and dry states, exhibit high electrical conductivity and mechanical strength, and demonstrate practical application in fully ...

Photoinduced Selective Construction of Densely Functionalized Spirocyclic Ethers With Carbyne Equivalents

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 18, 27 April 2026.
A reactivity programmed cascade between carbyne equivalents and allylic benzoates was developed that sequentially orchestrates all three reactivity modes of carbyne equivalents, enabling the rapid installation of three σ‐bonds at a single carbon center and providing efficient, scalable access to structurally diverse spirocyclic ethers. ABSTRACT Carbyne

A novel sulfur‐containing photoinitiator based on benzophenone derivatives for rapid photopolymerization

open access: yesSmart Molecules, EarlyView.
This study develops a series of unimolecular photoinitiators, BP‐S1‐5, by incorporating hydrogen‐donating groups into a benzophenone framework. This method reduces the reliance on co‐initiators, and enables BP‐S1‐5 with efficient photoinitiation and excellent molding capability.

Photoredox/Ti dual-catalyzed dehydroxylative ring-opening Giese reaction of cyclobutanone oximes

open access: yesGreen Synthesis and Catalysis
A dehydroxylative ring-opening Giese reaction of cyclobutanone oximes enabled by photoredox/Ti dual catalysis has been reported in this work. This protocol avoids the prefunctionalization of oximes and the use of stoichiometric triarylphosphine reagents.

Metal‐Free Electrophilic Borylative Cyclizations of Alkynes

open access: yesThe Chemical Record, EarlyView.
Metal‐free borylative cyclizations based on electrophilic alkyne activation by boron Lewis acids provide efficient access to borylated hetero‐ and carbocycles. Early studies using B(C6F5)3 displayed limited scope and application, whereas recent ClBcat‐ and BCl3‐based methods enable mild CB and CC/CX bond formation for the synthesis of cycles ...

Synthesis of novel penta and hexa coordinated monobutyltin(IV) derivatives based on oximes and N-protected amino acids

open access: yesMain Group Metal Chemistry, 2015
Several new monobutyltin(IV) derivatives containing both oximes and N-protected amino acids have been generated. The compounds having the general formulae BuSn[(L)2A], where LH=cyclohexanoneoxime, acetophenoneoxime and (where R=-CH(CH3)2, -CH(CH3)CH2CH3,

Identification and Quantification of Volatile Organic Compounds and Bioaerosols in the Conservation Processes of Guanche Mummies

open access: yesArchaeometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Guanche mummies, ancient inhabitants of the Canary Islands, represent a significant part of the historical heritage preserved at the Museum of Nature and Archaeology (MUNA) in Tenerife, Spain. These mummies, subjected to artificial conservation practices, are of great interest to conservators seeking to understand their mummification ...
