Pancreatin with High Enzymatic Activity*, †

Journal of the American Pharmaceutical Association (Scientific ed.), 1951
A simple method of preparing pancreatin with high lipase content is outlined. An analysis, by 50 independent workers, of the pancreatin prepared by this method shows that it contains also over three times the amount of trypsin and of amylase required by the U. S. P. Thus it is an easily prepared “triple strength” pancreatin of high lipase content.
