Constraint-Following Approach for Platoon Control Strategy of Connected Autonomous Vehicles
The current platoon control strategies of connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs) focus on controlling the fixed intervehicle distance, i.e., the string stability of the platoon system.

A Platoon Dispersion Model Based on a Truncated Normal Distribution of Speed
Understanding platoon dispersion is critical for the coordination of traffic signal control in an urban traffic network. Assuming that platoon speed follows a truncated normal distribution, ranging from minimum speed to maximum speed, this paper develops

Intelligent Bus Platoon Lateral and Longitudinal Control Method Based on Finite-Time Sliding Mode
Considering the rapid convergence of the longitudinal and lateral tracking errors of the platoon, a finite-time tracking control method for the longitudinal and lateral directions of the intelligent bus platoon is proposed. Based on the bus platoon model

Event-triggered control for vehicle platooning [PDF]
This paper presents a method to control vehicular platoons in an event-triggered fashion. Therefore, every vehicle broadcasts its position and velocity information only at discrete event times. These events are determined by a trigger rule only depending on the agents state and on time. Two control architectures are considered.
