Fluorescence Sensing of Anions Like Adenosine 5ʹ‐Triphosphate With pH‐Gated Porous Dye‐Loaded Cerasomes

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
The development of gated systems enabling controlled pore opening offers new opportunities for sensing applications. This study explores dye loading in porous and non‐porous cerasomes and pH‐dependent ATP‐triggered gating via polyamine anchors. Porous cerasomes were synthesized using block‐co‐polymers, enabling controlled proton influx and fluorescence‐

Quantitative Imaging of Water Diffusion in Brain Parenchyma at Cellular Resolution Using Stimulated Raman Scattering Microscopy

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A multimodal multiphoton imaging framework enables high‐resolution quantification of water diffusion in brain tissue. By tracking deuterated water via stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) microscopy, this study resolves the microscopic heterogeneity of water diffusion at cellular resolution and determines apparent diffusion coefficients in health and ...

FXF‐OMe Is a Stable Tripeptide Motif for Ultra‐Short Peptide Coacervates That Establishes Structure‐Property‐Function Relationships

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Ultra‐short peptides with a minimal sticker‐spacer structure undergo liquid‐liquid phase separation, resulting in condensates with microenvironments controlled by the hydrophobicity of the spacers. The condensates provide an easily tunable and exceptionally stable scaffold for photocatalytic microreactors in aqueous media, where catalysis efficiency is

Laser‐Synthesized Carbon‐Coated Elemental Bismuth Nanoparticles for Sustained Reactive Oxygen Species Generation Under Visible‐Light Irradiation

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Femtosecond laser ablation of bismuth in acetone yields carbon‐coated nanoparticles with a metallic Bi0 core and an amorphous carbon shell. The core‐shell architecture preserves visible‐light‐driven redox activity and enables sustained hydroxyl‐radical generation.
