Supramolecular Assembly of Stepped‐Persistent ROS Nanogenerator for Sustained Tumor Immunotherapy
ROS catalytic systems often fail to achieve both effective tumor elimination and persistent immune activation due to their monotonous ROS production profiles. A stepped‐persistent ROS nanogenerator was developed by supramolecularly assembling multiple ROS generation modules within a nanofiber structure to simultaneously extend ROS generation duration ...

Metabolism of Purine Alkaloids and Xanthine in Leaves of Maté ()
Accumulation and metabolism of purine alkaloids in leaves of maté ( Ilex paraguariensis ) were investigated. In winter, leaves accumulated caffeine but not theobromine, indicating that caffeine is the end product of purine alkaloid synthesis in maté.

Plasmodium Purine Metabolism and Its Inhibition by Nucleoside and Nucleotide Analogues.
Malaria still affects around 200 million people and is responsible for more than 400,000 deaths per year, mostly children in subequatorial areas. This disease is caused by parasites of the Plasmodium genus.

The genome of Rhodococcus erythropolis D‐1 was analyzed by bioinformatic tools to mine a novel nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) gene cluster. A nonribosomal peptide analog ZURJC5 associated with the NRPS was chemically synthesized. Through structure‐activity relationship studies, ZURJC28 was ultimately obtained and showed antibacterial activity ...

Under 660 nm visible light, Ru NCs efficiently photocatalyze nitrate‐to‐ammonium conversion and modulate oral nitrogen metabolism. They precisely perturb Veillonella parvula, block its key support to Porphyromonas gingivalis, and exert an “inhibiting without killing” antivirulence effect.

An STI‐guided metagenomic association framework links soybean salt‐tolerance phenotypes with rhizosphere microbiome composition and network organization in natural saline soils. The approach identifies candidate beneficial taxa, including Thalassospira xiamenensis, and provides an efficient strategy for mining stress‐protective microbes from native ...
