Automating Vascular Biology: An End‐to‐End Automated Workflow for High‐Throughput Blood Vessel‐on‐a‐Chip Production and Multi‐Site Validation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
AngioPlate384 is a 384‐well open‐top platform that automates production of more than 100 miniaturized, perfusable blood vessels embedded in hydrogel and supported by stromal cells. Stromal‐endothelial co‐culture strengthens blood vessel barrier function and yields responses useful for translational planning. Scalable and automation‐ready, it suits drug

Notch3/Jagged1 Circuitry Reinforces Notch Signaling and Sustains T-ALL

open access: yesNeoplasia: An International Journal for Oncology Research, 2014
Deregulated Notch signaling has been extensively linked to T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). Here, we show a direct relationship between Notch3 receptor and Jagged1 ligand in human cell lines and in a mouse model of T-ALL.

Piezo1-mediated fluid shear stress promotes OPG and inhibits RANKL via NOTCH3 in MLO-Y4 osteocytes

open access: yesChannels, 2022
Piezo1, a mechanosensitive ion channel, participates in a variety of biological processes in maintaining bone homeostasis. As the most abundant cells in bones of the mammals, osteocytes play an essential role in bone formation, remodeling, and bone mass ...

Engineered Small Extracellular Vesicles Targeting Tumor‐Associated Endothelial Cells to Effectively Remodel the Glioma Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study developed a novel drug delivery platform that overcomes the blood‐brain barrier in glioblastoma. By fusing IGFBP7 with small extracellular vesicles, the platform specifically targets tumor vasculature. It effectively delivers temozolomide, suppressing tumor growth at low doses.

Single‐Cell Transcriptomic Atlases of Camels and Cattle Unravel Molecular Evolution of Digestive and Metabolic Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We generated multi‐tissue single‐cell transcriptomic atlases of camels and cattle, uncovering conserved and lineage‐specific cellular features across digestive and metabolic systems. Cross‐species comparisons revealed the evolutionary origin of the camel glandular sac and identified novel cell populations linked to physiological specialization ...

NOTCH3 promotes malignant progression of bladder cancer by directly regulating SPP1 and activating PI3K/AKT pathway

open access: yesCell Death and Disease
The biological role and precise molecular mechanisms of Notch receptor 3 (NOTCH3) in the malignant progression of bladder cancer (BLCA) remain unclear. In this study, we found that NOTCH3 was significantly upregulated and associated with poor prognosis ...

Spatial Transcriptomics of TMJ Reveals a Remodeling Fibroblast‐Immune Microenvironment Driving Arthritis Pain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Spatial transcriptomics reveals a remodeled fibroblast‐immune microenvironment in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) during arthritis. By combining seqFISH with genetic mouse models, this study uncovers TMJ spatial cell atalas, macrophage‐fibroblast crosstalk, and cytokine signaling pathways driving TMJ inflammation and pain.

Cockroach‐Derived Leucokinin VIII Peptide Accelerates Diabetic Skin Wound Healing by Enhancing Keratinocyte Filopodia Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies the cockroach‐derived peptide leucokinin VIII as a potent accelerator of diabetic wound healing. By activating the FAK‐ACTG1 axis, the peptide drives keratinocyte migration and filopodia formation. Delivered via a developed PLGA‐PEG‐PLGA thermosensitive hydrogel for sustained release, this approach significantly hastens wound ...

Notch3 enhances the synergistic effect of all-trans retinoic acid and calcipotriol in pancreatic stellate cell activation

open access: yesJournal of Translational Medicine
Background Chronic pancreatitis (CP) is characterized by progressive fibrosis and the activation of pancreatic stellate cells (PSCs). As major producers of collagen-I and fibronectin, PSCs play important roles in pancreatic fibrosis, but few studies have
