Regulation of cellular senescence by retinoid X receptors and their partners
Cellular senescence is a response characterized by a stable cell proliferation arrest and a senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) which can be induced by many stresses, including telomere shortening and oncogene activation. Senescence is crucially involved in a variety of physiopathological contexts, such as cancer and aging.

The mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental toxicity induced by repeated exposure to general anesthesia in neonatal mice remain to be fully elucidated. In this study, neonatal mice were exposed to sevoflurane on postnatal days 6, 8, and 10. On postnatal day 30, the medial prefrontal cortex was collected for whole‐genome bisulfite sequencing and RNA ...

Expression of Retinoid X Receptors in Human Dermal Fibroblasts
Retinoic acid (RA) is known to exert profound effects on growth and differentiation in human dermal fibroblasts. In the observations presented here, we examined the regulation of expression of members of the RXR multigene family in human dermal fibroblasts.

MAPT accumulation inhibited CHMP4B expression and thus disrupted ESCRT‐III‐mediated autophagosome‐lysosome fusion, which induced a vicious cycle between MAPT aggregation and autophagic deficits. Aerobic exercise could effectively block the vicious cycle and reverse autophagic deficits by promoting the β2‐AR‐RXRα‐CHMP4B‐ESCRT‐III pathway, reducing ...

Synergistic potential of CDK4/6 inhibitors and ATRA in non‐APL AML
Summary Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) is a heterogeneous disease characterized by diverse genetic abnormalities. The standard of care remains to be chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation. In acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APL), differentiation therapy with all‐trans retinoic acid (ATRA) has significantly improved outcomes. Despite this, the success

Summary Background and Objectives Dermatological oral antitumor therapeutics (OAT) are often interaction‐prone and used in complex regimens. The pharmacological/pharmaceutical care program of the randomized AMBORA trial significantly improved medication safety with various OAT; however, dermato‐oncological patients were not included.

Retinoid X receptors in the kidney: their protein expression and functional significance.
Retinoid X receptors (RXRs) heterodimerize with 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 (VD) receptor (VDR), and play important roles in VD-regulated transactivation. VD acts on many tissues including kidney for the regulation of calcium homeostasis. In the kidney, the
