Sex‐Specific Neurogenic and Cognitive Responses in a Murine Model of Accelerated Aging
Aging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.Male and female SAMP8 mice exhibit different physiological and pathological trajectories of hippocampal neurogenesis despite exhibiting similar cognitive performance. ER272 treatment was associated with improved cognition and enhanced neurogenesis exclusively in males highlighting the importance of sex‐specific analysis.

Endothelial TLR4 at the Crossroads of Vascular Senescence and Targeted Senotherapeutics
Aging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.While Toll‐like receptor 4 (TLR4) mediates essential innate immune responses, its stress‐induced hyperactivation drives vascular endothelial senescence. The subsequent release of the senescence‐associated secretory phenotype (SASP) accelerates tissue aging and exacerbates various age‐related diseases.
