Stromal Cell-Derived Factor-1 Promotes Cell Migration, Tumor Growth of Colorectal Metastasis

open access: yesNeoplasia: An International Journal for Oncology Research, 2007
In a mouse model of established extrahepatic colorectal metastasis, we analyzed whether stromal cellderived factor (SDF) 1 stimulates tumor cell migration in vitro, angiogenesis, tumor growth in vivo.

Effect of silver diamine fluoride, potassium iodide, and glutathione on micro-shear bond strength of glass ionomer cement to caries affected dentine

open access: yesJournal of Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, 2022
Background: Silver diamine fluoride (SDF, 38%) is an efficient topical fluoride used to arrest dental caries though it causes black staining of both teeth and restoration.

Stem cells migration during skeletal muscle regeneration - the role of Sdf-1/Cxcr4 and Sdf-1/Cxcr7 axis [PDF]

open access: yesCell Adhesion & Migration, 2016
The skeletal muscle regeneration occurs due to the presence of tissue specific stem cells - satellite cells. These cells, localized between sarcolemma and basal lamina, are bound to muscle fibers and remain quiescent until their activation upon muscle injury.

Bioactive Conductive Ti3C2Tx‐Ce Hydrogel Facilitates Spinal Cord Injury Repair Through ROS Scavenging and Mitochondrial Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bioactive conductive Ti3C2Tx‐Ce hydrogels with with scavenging ROS and alleviating neuronal mitochondrial dysfunction are exploited for SCI treatment. This functionality is attributed to interfacial activation modification of Ti3C2Tx with Ce3+ ions to in‐situ form Ce(OH)x‐mediated protective layer, which is beneficial to enabling stable intracellular ...

A Superhydrophobic 3D Cell Culture System Reveals the Mechanobiological Role of Cancer‐Associated Fibroblasts in Prostate Cancer Metastasis

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A superhydrophobic 3D cell culture platform enables rapid and consistent formation of heterotypic tumor–stroma clusters, and reveals how physiological shear conditions influence metastatic signaling. Mechanical stimulation of cancer‐associated fibroblasts promotes sustained cytokine secretion and survival‐promoting pathways, showing how multicellular ...

Effects of SDF-1/CXCR7 on the Migration, Invasion and Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition of Gastric Cancer Cells

open access: yesFrontiers in Genetics, 2021
We found that SDF-1/CXCR7 axis played an important role in the growth and proliferation of gastric cancer in the previous studies. The objectives of this study were to explore the effects of SDF-1/CXCR7 on the metastatic ability of gastric cancer cells ...

Unravelling the Atomic Structure of a Metal‐Covalent Organic Framework Assembled from Ruthenium Metalloligands

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
Metal‐covalent organic frameworks (MCOFs) are novel porous materials that exhibit the advantages of covalent and metal‐organic frameworks. However, it is extremely difficult to resolve their atomic structure and better understand their structure‐properties relation. This work utilizes a synergistic combination of advanced microscopy, spectroscopic, and

Immune and Stem Cell‐Mediated Bactericidal Amplification and Bone Remodeling for Infection Clearance and Osteointegration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A pH‐responsive biomaterial interface integrates bactericidal peptides, cell‐recruiting peptides, and magnesium ions into a multifunctional system. Infection‐induced acidification triggers antimicrobial peptide release while cell‐recruiting peptides mobilize bone marrow stem cells.
