The Explant Culture of Pig Skin after Corneocyte Layer Stripping in Vivo

Adult pig skin was stripped of its horny layer by cellophane tape. At intervals over the next 4 days explant cultures were prepared from such areas. Growth displayed an initial rapid and secondary slower phase.

Isolation of a New Strain of Cytomegalovirus from Explanted Normal Skin

Producing MSCs on rigid culture substrates induces a scar‐making phenotype, jeapordizing therapeutic success. ‘Tissue‐soft’ surfaces prevent MSC fibrogenesis and preserve regenerative traits. An epigenetic network, driven by HOXA11 and SALL1, maintains ‘soft memory’ by keeping chromatin open in relaxed MSCs, promoting anti‐fibrotic programs.

Dynamic Self‐Clickable Decellularized Matrix Hydrogels for Regulating Vascularity and Enhancing Muscle Regeneration

Dynamic decellularized hydrogels are prepared using bovine decellularized small intestine submucosa (SIS) norbornene (dSIS‐NB). Bovine dSIS contained significant amounts of disulfide‐rich fibrillin‐I, enabling ‘self‐clickable’ thiol‐norbornene gelation and spatiotemporal tuning of hydrogel physicochemical properties.
