Reprogramming of a human induced pluripotent stem cell line from one 48-year-old healthy male donor
In this study, skin biopsy was collected from a healthy 48-year old male donor with informed consent, and the fibroblasts were isolated from the dermal explant cultures.

This study presents a ″trash‐to‐treasure″ strategy that converts harmful joint overloads into beneficial electrical cues. The biodegradable MagPie, by providing piezoelectrical stimulation and releasing Mg2+ during mastication, exerts synergistic pro‐regenerative and anti‐inflammatory effects on Prg4+ cells via the ECM‐mediated FAK‐PI3K‐Akt axis ...

Effect of keratinocytes culture on the construction of fibrin-based human skin equivalents [PDF]
Human skin equivalents are in vitro model constructed with human skin cells. The function and morphology of primary cells are particularly dependent on the cell isolation and culturing method, crucial in achieving reliable skin tissues. In this study, we

Lesion Site‐Targeted Microspheres Modulate Nav1.7‐Related Signaling for Osteoarthritis Treatment
Cartilage‐targeted carbamazepine‐loaded WYRGRL‐modified composite microspheres (CBZ/WCOM) anchor to exposed type II collagen in osteoarthritic lesions and release carbamazepine under acidic conditions. This bind‐then‐release platform modulates Nav1.7‐related sodium signaling, Na⁺/Ca²⁺ exchanger‐associated Ca2+ dynamics, and heat shock protein 70 ...

Migration and maturation of Langerhans cells in skin transplants and explants. [PDF]
The behavior of Langerhans cells (LC) has been examined after skin transplantation and in an organ culture system. Within 24 h (and even within 4 h of culture), LC in epidermal sheets from allografts, isografts, and explants dramatically increased in size and expression of major histocompatibility complex class II molecules, and their numbers were ...

An ultrasound‐activatable piezoelectric hydrogel reprograms chondrocyte mitochondrial epigenetics via the mTOR/GATD3A axis, clearing damaged mitochondria and alleviating osteoarthritis progression in both mouse models and human cartilage explants. ABSTRACT The avascular nature of cartilage hinders drug delivery for osteoarthritis (OA) therapy.

Effect of Retinoids on the Differentiation of Chick Embryo Metatarsal Skin Explants
Twelve retinoids were evaluated in organ culture for activity in modulating epithelial differentiation of metatarsal skin explants from 13-day chick embryos. The epithelium differentiated into a squamous, keratinizing epidermis; but, in the presence of active retinoids, keratinization was inhibited, and a mucous metaplasia developed.

Autonomous AI‐Driven Design for Skin Product Formulations
This review presents a comprehensive closed‐loop framework for autonomous skin product formulation design. By integrating artificial intelligence‐driven experiment selection with automated multi‐tiered assays, the approach shifts development from trial‐and‐error to intelligent optimisation.

Establishment of primary keratinocyte culture from horse tissue biopsates
Primary cell lines established from skin tissue can be used in immunological, proteomic and genomic studies as in vitro skin models. The goal of our study was to establish a primary keratinocyte cell culture from tissue biopsates of two horses.
