SLC7A11-specific CAR-T cell therapy potently targets colorectal and pancreatic cancer
Summary: SLC7A11 is highly expressed in various solid tumors, including colorectal cancer and pancreatic cancer. The aim of the study was to report the therapeutic potential of SLC7A11 CAR-T therapy.

SLC7A11 in hepatocellular carcinoma: potential mechanisms, regulation, and clinical significance
Exploring novel early detection biomarkers and developing more efficacious treatments remain pressing tasks in the current research landscape for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Morphologically and molecularly separate from apoptosis, cell death, and autophagy, ferroptosis is a recently discovered, unique, controlled form of cell death.

EFNA4-enhanced deubiquitination of SLC7A11 inhibits ferroptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma
EFNA4, a member of the Ephrin-A ligand family, may influence hepatocellular carcinoma cells through two distinct mechanisms: one reliant on specific Eph receptor binding and the other independent of receptor involvement. However, EFNA4's influence on HCC via non-Eph receptor pathways remains unclear.

ABSTRACT This study investigated the effects of histone lactylation on ferroptosis in hypoxia‐induced cardiomyocytes. A hypoxia model was established in AC16 cells treated with 2‐Deoxy‐D‐glucose (2‐DG, a glucose analogue), ferrostatin‐1 (Fer‐1, a selective ferroptosis inhibitor), lactate (LA), sh‐β‐catenin (shRNA of β‐catenin), or SKL2001 (an agonist ...

ABSTRACT Non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common type of lung cancer, with a 5‐year survival rate of less than 20% and a high risk of recurrence despite advances in treatment. This study aimed to identify new therapeutic targets to increase the effectiveness of NSCLC treatments.

ABSTRACT The prevalence of postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMOP) has been steadily increasing. Ferroptosis has been recognized as a critical factor influencing the bone‐forming ability of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs). Valproic acid (VPA), an HDAC inhibitor, has been suggested to play a role in regulating osteoporosis development; however ...

RNA‐binding protein RBMS1: A new target for cancer diagnosis and treatment
This schematic illustrates the diverse regulatory roles of RNA‐binding motif single‐stranded interacting protein 1 (RBMS1) across multiple human cancers. In breast cancer, RBMS1 stabilizes B4GALT1 mRNA to promote PD‐L1 glycosylation, modulating tumor immune escape and immunotherapy efficacy.
