β-Arrestin2 mediates nephrin endocytosis and impairs slit diaphragm integrity [PDF]
β-Arrestins mediate internalization of plasma membrane receptors. Nephrin, a structural component of the glomerular slit diaphragm, is a single transmembrane spanning receptor and belongs to the family of adhesion molecules. Its mutation causes a hereditary nephrotic syndrome.

Abstract An ultrastructural morphometric analysis of the postnatal development of the lung in the gray short‐tailed opossum (Monodelphis domestica) has been conducted to evaluate the morphofunctional status of this poorly developed marsupial lung immediately following parturition.

Three‐dimensional geometric morphometric analysis of diaphragmatic dome motion in COPD patients
Abstract Diaphragmatic dysfunction is a hallmark of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), especially in emphysema, where hyperinflation alters diaphragm geometry and impairs inspiratory mechanics. However, quantitative three‐dimensional (3D) assessments of diaphragmatic dome shape and motion across COPD phenotypes are limited.

This paper investigates the high‐pressure water jet‐pick combined rock‐breaking mode (HPC), which employs high‐pressure water jets to precut grooves on both sides of the picks. The rock‐breaking patterns and performance of the HPC method are obtained, and the auxiliary rock‐breaking mechanism of water jet grooving is revealed.

A Comparative Study of Ultrasonography and CT Venography in the Diagnosis of Budd‐Chiari Syndrome
Budd‐Chiari syndrome (BCS) is characterized by hepatic venous outflow obstruction from the hepatic veins to the junction of the inferior vena cava (IVC) and right atrium. Ultrasound (US) and CT venography (CTV) are used as imaging techniques for the diagnosis of BCS, and We compared the diagnostic efficacy of the two modalities. The results showed that

A Missing Link: The Double-Slit Experiment and Quantum Entanglement
This article reconsiders the double-slit experiment by establishing a new type of relationship between it and the concept of entanglement. While the role of entanglement in the double-slit experiment has been considered, this particular relationship ...

A closer look at the uncertainty relation of position and momentum
We consider particles prepared by the von Neumann-L\"uders projection. For those particles the standard deviation of the momentum is discussed. We show that infinite standard deviations are not exceptions but rather typical.
