Integrated macroscopic, histological, and ultrastructural analyses revealed five distinct lingual papillae types (filiform, fungiform, conical, foliate, and vallate) in the Anatolian wild boar (Sus scrofa libycus). Mechanical papillae showed marked structural specialization, while gustatory papillae exhibited region‐specific distribution of taste buds.

Exosomes Derived from Stem Cells from the Apical Papilla Promote Dentine-Pulp Complex Regeneration by Inducing Specific Dentinogenesis [PDF]
Regenerative endodontic procedures (REPs) are a new option for the treatment of dental pulp or periapical diseases in permanent teeth with open apices. Histologically, the new tissues formed in the root canal after REPs are mainly cementum- or bone-like ...

Abstract Background Fibroblast growth factor‐2 (FGF‐2) is a novel agent utilized in periodontal regeneration therapy. However, its clinical efficacy compared with autologous bone graft (ABG), a long‐established treatment, remains unclear. This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of FGF‐2 and ABG and to assess the impact of patient background ...

Single‐Cell Virtual Perturbation Screening Identifies STAT3 as a Key Regulator of Dentinogenesis
STAT3 promotes odontoblast differentiation in dental mesenchymal cells by transcriptionally regulating WNT2B via the canonical Wnt/β‐catenin signalling pathway. These findings elucidate a mechanism underlying dentine development. ABSTRACT Dentine formation constitutes a physiological process precisely regulated by signal transduction modules governing ...

ABSTRACT Aim Hydraulic calcium silicate cements are widely employed in endodontics due to their excellent biocompatibility, bioactivity, sealing ability, and remineralisation potential. However, currently used products such as mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) exhibit several limitations, including discolouration, cost, and poor handling properties ...

Characterization of dental pulp stem cells isolated from canine premolars [PDF]
INTRODUCTION: Dogs are commonly used animal models for regenerative endodontics research. Although several studies have used stem cells isolated from dog teeth to investigate the dentin/pulp regeneration in vivo, less attention has been paid for the ...
