Hydrazonyl Radical-Participated Tandem Reaction: A Strategy for the Synthesis of Pyrazoline-Functionalized Oxindoles

open access: yes, 2015
An efficient and practical tandem cyclization/addition/cyclization strategy is developed for the initial generated hydrazonyl radicals derived from the oxidation of β,γ-unsaturated hydrazones.

Tandem CAR-T cells targeting mesothelin and MUC16 overcome tumor heterogeneity by targeting one antigen at a time

open access: yesJournal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer
Background Tumor heterogeneity and antigen escape are mechanisms of resistance to chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy, especially in solid tumors.

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

A Quantitative Shape Control Strategy for Hot Tandem Mill

open access: yes, 2011
For modern hot tandem mill, various shape control means are equipped, so its shape control ability is strong. How to reasonably distribute every stand’s shape control ability is a difficult problem. If the distribution scheme is unreasonable, every stand’

Simulation study of reducing reflection losses in all-perovskite tandem solar cells through dual serrated structure

open access: yesFrontiers of Optoelectronics
The power conversion efficiency of all-perovskite tandem solar cells is predominantly constrained by optical absorption losses, especially reflection losses.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Palladium-catalyzed tandem aza-Heck reaction of alkene-tethered oxime esters with cyclopropanols

open access: yesGreen Synthesis and Catalysis
Aza-Heck cyclization of alkene-tethered oxime esters has received considerable attention as an effective strategy for synthesizing 1-pyrroline derivatives. However, the achievement of tandem aza-Heck reaction with alkyl electrophiles remains a challenge.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Surface chemical polishing and passivation minimize non-radiative recombination for all-perovskite tandem solar cells

open access: yesNature Communications
All-perovskite tandem solar cells have shown great promise in breaking the Shockley–Queisser limit of single-junction solar cells. However, the efficiency improvement of all-perovskite tandem solar cells is largely hindered by the surface defects induced
