Tertiary Lymphoid Structures in Microorganism-Related Cancer
Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) are ectopic lymphoid tissues formed by the accumulation of lymphocytes and other components outside lymphoid organs. They have been shown to be widespread in cancers and have predictive effects on prognosis and immunotherapy efficacy; however, there is no standardized measurement guide.

Corticosteroids improve the efficacy of immune checkpoint blockade therapy in metastatic murine breast cancer. By normalizing the tumor immune microenvironment, corticosteroids reduce immunosuppressive signals, restore T‐cell function, and promote antitumor immune responses, resulting in enhanced tumor control.

Radiotherapy induces tumor cells to release microparticles (RT‐MPs) into the circulation. The mitochondrial DNA carried by these RT‐MPs activates the STING/NLRP3/GSDMD axis in splenic neutrophils, triggering IL‐1β secretion. This, in turn, enhances dendritic cell function and facilitates the formation of cytotoxic T lymphocytes, thereby promoting ...

Constructing a prognostic model for colon cancer: insights from immunity-related genes
Background Colon cancer (CC) is a malignancy associated with significant morbidity and mortality within the gastrointestinal tract. Recurrence and metastasis are the main factors affecting the prognosis of CC patients undergoing radical surgery ...

T Follicular Helper-Like Cells in Inflamed Non-Lymphoid Tissues
T and B cell cooperation normally takes place in secondary lymphoid organs (SLO). However, both cell types are also frequently found in inflamed non-lymphoid tissues.

Ectopic expression of CXCL13, BAFF, APRIL and LT-ß is associated with artery tertiary lymphoid organs in giant cell arteritis [PDF]
Objectives To investigate whether artery tertiary lymphoid organs (ATLOs) are present in giant cell arteritis (GCA) and that their formation is associated with the ectopic expression of constitutive lymphoid tissue-homing chemokines.

Cancer‐Like Fragmentomic Characteristics of Somatic Variants in Cell‐Free DNA
We report that in non‐cancerous subjects, cell‐free (cfDNA) molecules harboring somatic variants exhibit cancer‐like fragmentomic characteristics associated with clonal hematopoiesis. Importantly, these somatic variant‐associated fragmentomic aberrations are more pronounced in cancer patients. Leveraging such somatic variant‐associated signals in cfDNA,

Objectives To predict tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) in gallbladder cancer (GBC) using preoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based radiomics. Methods Patients with GBC from two centres served as training (n = 129) and external validation (n =

CD20⁺FCRL4⁺ B cells in nasopharyngeal carcinoma actively cross‐present exogenous tumor antigens via MHC‐I, enhancing CD8⁺ T‐cell activation, memory formation, and cytotoxicity. IFNγ‐driven WDFY4 upregulation facilitates this process. These findings reveal an unconventional B‐cell–mediated antitumor mechanism and indicate potential relevance to ...
