Membranous nephropathy associated with thrombospondin type-1 domain-containing 7A (THSD7A) in an adult woman with eosinophilia. [PDF]
Abstract A 30-year-old woman on steroid therapy for eosinophilia presented with nephrotic syndrome during steroid tapering. She was diagnosed with membranous nephropathy (MN) stage II–III (positive for IgG1 and IgG4) by renal biopsy. There was no evidence of secondary MN. Her urinary protein level was controlled to 0.5 g/day or less, and her eosinophil

Clinicopathological characteristics of thrombospondin type 1 domain-containing 7A-associated membranous nephropathy. [PDF]
Thrombospondin type 1 domain-containing 7A (THSD7A) is a recently identified target antigen of idiopathic membranous nephropathy (iMN). The clinicopathological characteristics of THSD7A-associated MN are poorly characterised due to low prevalence among MN patients.

A Heterologous Model of Thrombospondin Type 1 Domain-Containing 7A-Associated Membranous Nephropathy. [PDF]
Thrombospondin type 1 domain-containing 7A (THSD7A) is a target for autoimmunity in patients with membranous nephropathy (MN). Circulating autoantibodies from patients with THSD7A-associated MN have been demonstrated to cause MN in mice.

Autoantibodies against thrombospondin type 1 domain-containing 7A induce membranous nephropathy. [PDF]
Membranous nephropathy (MN) is the most common cause of nephrotic syndrome in adults, and one-third of patients develop end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Circulating autoantibodies against the podocyte surface antigens phospholipase A2 receptor 1 (PLA2R1) and the recently identified thrombospondin type 1 domain-containing 7A (THSD7A) are assumed to cause

Thrombospondin Type 1 Domain-Containing 7A Localizes to the Slit Diaphragm and Stabilizes Membrane Dynamics of Fully Differentiated Podocytes. [PDF]
Significance Statement Among adults with membranous nephropathy, about 3%–5% have autoantibodies directed against thrombospondin type 1 domain–containing 7A (THSD7A), a podocyte-expressed transmembrane protein.

An Indirect Immunofluorescence Method Facilitates Detection of Thrombospondin Type 1 Domain-Containing 7A-Specific Antibodies in Membranous Nephropathy. [PDF]
Thrombospondin type 1 domain–containing 7A (THSD7A) is a target antigen identified in adult membranous nephropathy (MN) along with the major antigen phospholipase A 2 receptor 1 (PLA 2 R1).

TRIM25 facilitates mitochondrial dysfunction and extracellular matrix degradation by enhancing USP7-driven ENO1 deubiquitination during intervertebral disc degeneration. [PDF]
Under conditions of low TRIM25 expression, the ubiquitination fate of ENO1 shifts to K48‐linked ubiquitination and degradation. TRIM25 enhances the deubiquitination of ENO1 by recruiting USP7, effectively inhibiting its proteasomal degradation and significantly increasing ENO1 stabilization.

Recurrent membranous nephropathy with a possible alteration in the etiology: a case report
Background Phospholipase A2 receptor 1 (PLA2R1) and thrombospondin type-1 domain-containing 7A (THSD7A) are the two major pathogenic antigens for membranous nephropathy (MN).

CHIN117 is a dual cysteinyl leukotriene receptor 1 (CYSLTR1) antagonist and G‐protein‐coupled bile acid receptor 1 (GPBAR1) agonist. In the liver, GPBAR1 and CYSLTR1 are coexpressed by liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs), HSCs, circulating monocytes/macrophages, and liver resident macrophages (Kupffer cells).
