This work establishes a novel method for generating multicellular liver organoids from control and MASH donor iPSCs. The model recapitulates several disease‐specific characteristics, with MASH donor‐derived organoids showing higher susceptibility. Lipidomic profiling of MASH organoids closely resembles MASH liver biopsies.

Effect of smoking on postprandial secretion of total bile acids
Increased reflux of bile has been associated with gastric mucosal conditions such as gastric ulcer and gastritis. Factors which underlie this observation have not been fully defined although pyloric sphincter dysfunction has been suggested. Since smokinq inhibits pyloric sphincter contraction, changes in bile acid secretion may influence reflux.
