Antibacterial effect of copper composites against Xanthomonas euvesicatoria
Crop Protection, 2021Abstract Bacterial spot disease caused by Xanthomonas euvesicatoria is one of the major constraints for pepper production in Florida and worldwide. The common prevalence of copper (Cu)-tolerant X. euvesicatoria strains has reduced the efficacy of Cu based bactericides against bacterial spot of pepper.

Испытание тест-системы для диагностики Xanthomonas euvesicatoria pv. euvesicatoria
Plant Health and Quarantine,

Ground cherry (Physalis pubescens) is widely cultivated in Northeast China as one of its popular fruits. In the summer of 2017, suspected bacterial disease symptoms consisting of water-soaked spots and brown interveinal necrotic lesions with chlorotic margins were observed on ground cherry leaves in a field of Hailun County in Northeast China.

Visualisation of hrp gene expression in Xanthomonas euvesicatoria in the tomato phyllosphere
European Journal of Plant Pathology, 2009The plasmid pUFZ75 conferred constitutive GFP expression on the bacterial pathogen Xanthomonas euvesicatoria (syn. X. campestris pv. vesicatoria). Colonisation of the tomato phyllosphere and invasion of tomato leaves by X. euvesicatoria was examined using both fluorescence and confocal laser scanning microscopy.

Species-specific PCR primers for the detection of poorly distinguishable Xanthomonas euvesicatoria
Crop Protection, 2020Abstract New species-specific PCR primers for detection of bacterium Xanthomonas euvesicatoria, the causal agent of bacterial spot of tomato and pepper, were designed in this work. Developed PCR primer pair ZnDoF/ZnDoR partially targets the coding sequence of Zn-dependent oxidoreductase gene.
