Moroccan medicinal plants with in silico‐approved aphrodisiac effects provide 94 phytochemicals. Docking against PDE5, AR, ERα, and aromatase gives top scores for lutein (−10.6), baicalein (−9.5), liquiritigenin (−9.2), and procyanidins (−9.7). ADMET filtering passes baicalein and liquiritigenin but excludes lutein and procyanidins. MD simulations (200

Novel licorice‐derived compound YCY‐20 attenuates cerebral ischemia–reperfusion injury by suppressing neuronal apoptosis. Mechanistic studies reveal its neuroprotection is mediated through inhibition of the AGE‐RAGE/MAPK pathway, providing a preclinical foundation for stroke therapeutics development.

EGF‐induced de novo transcription of connexins Cx26 and Cx31 promotes flocking behavior that fluidizes epithelia and enables coordinated collective migration. Connexin‐driven cytoplasmic exchange mechanistically links growth‐factor signaling to invasive dynamics.

The pathophysiology of functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome includes altered motility, secretion, sensitivity to sensory signals, impaired epithelial barrier function, inflammation, and gut dysbiosis. The phytomedicine, STW 5‐II, represents a multi‐targeted approach, addressing these pathophysiologies.

Licorice‐Induced Pseudoaldosteronism Caused by Rikkunshito in an Extremely Low Birth Weight Infant
ABSTRACT We report an extremely low birth weight infant with gastroesophageal reflux disease who developed persistent hypokalemia and metabolic alkalosis after treatment with rikkunshito. These findings gradually resolved after discontinuation of rikkunshito and potassium supplementation, suggesting licorice‐induced pseudoaldosteronism.

Methotrexate (MTX) is a widely used chemotherapeutic and immunosuppressive agent for treating various malignancies, autoimmune diseases (AIDs), and inflammatory disorders. Despite its therapeutic efficacy, long term or high‐dose MTX treatment is associated with a significant risk of hepatotoxicity, leading to MTX‐induced liver injury (MTX‐LI).
