Evaluation of Cell-Specific Epigenetic Age Acceleration in People With Multiple Sclerosis
Background and Objectives In multiple sclerosis (MS), accelerated aging of the immune system (immunosenescence) may be associated with disease onset or drive progression.

Background: Marriage has been a hot topic since ancient times forever, yet there is little research evidence on marital status as an important socio-behavioral factor in relation to aging.

This study examined whether children exposed to adversity would exhibit lower epigenetic age acceleration in the context of improved parenting. Children with developmental delays and externalizing behavior problems (N = 62; Mage = 36.26 months; 70.97 ...

Transdiagnostic evaluation of epigenetic age acceleration and burden of psychiatric disorders
Different psychiatric disorders as well as exposure to adverse life events have individually been associated with multiple age-related diseases and mortality.

ON RADIATION-INDUCED AGING: ACCELERATED OR PREMATURE AGING
Abstract The concept of radiation-induced aging is revisited from the viewpoint of a mathematical model. The effect of radiation on carcinogenesis is treated based on the Armitage–Doll multi-stage theory. The formula obtained for cancer incidence rate indicates that radiation dose can be explained in terms of time.

Epigenetic age acceleration and clinical outcomes in gliomas.
Epigenetic age acceleration-the difference between an individual's DNA methylation age and chronological age-is associated with many diseases including cancer. This study aims to evaluate epigenetic age acceleration as a prognostic biomarker for gliomas.

Background & Aims: A DNA methylation (DNAm) signature derived from 353 CpG sites (the Horvath clock) has been proposed as an epigenetic measure of chronological and biological age.

The early-life exposome and epigenetic age acceleration in children
The early-life exposome influences future health and accelerated biological aging has been proposed as one of the underlying biological mechanisms. We investigated the association between more than 100 exposures assessed during pregnancy and in childhood
