Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

CALCIUM ABSORPTION KINETIC ON INDONESIAN RICE

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Chemistry, 2010
Calcium absorption kinetic from three varieties rice i.e. low-, medium-, and high amylose content were evaluated. Three calcium salt (calcium acetate, -lactate and - gluconate) were used as a fortifican.

Varying amylose contents affect the structural and physicochemical characteristics of starch in mung bean

open access: yesInternational Journal of Food Properties, 2021
Mung bean starches are widely used for producing transparent, good-quality noodles in the food industry. This study isolated starches from eight mung bean varieties and investigated how the amylose contents (19.1–32.9%) of the beans affected the ...

Programmable Etherified‐Starch Networks Enable Tunable Humidity‐Responsive Soft Actuators for Smart Textiles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Programmable etherified‐starch networks enable humidity‐responsive soft actuators with tunable and reversible deformation. By tailoring crosslinking density and structural design, rapid response, controllable actuation, and long‐term stability are achieved.

Rational Design of Broad‐Spectrum Anti‐Enteroviral Molecular Glues Targeting Enteroviral RNAi Suppressors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By leveraging this homodimerization mechanism, molecular glues were rationally designed to induce dysfunctional 3A dimerization, thereby restoring antiviral RNAi. The optimal molecular glue, VTP‐32, demonstrated potent and pan‐enterovirus (groups A, B, D) antiviral effects.

A Virus‐Inducible E3–RLCK–MADS Module Coordinates Suppression of Plant Immunity and Fertility in Rice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Viruses often hijack host developmental programs to promote infection, but the mechanistic links between reproductive regulation and antiviral immunity remain incompletely understood. Here, we identify a virus‐triggered hierarchical degradation cascade that links antiviral immunity and fertility regulation in rice. We show that the rice grassy

Genome-wide association analysis and transgenic characterization for amylose content regulating gene in tuber of Dioscorea zingiberensis

open access: yesBMC Plant Biology
Background Amylose, a prebiotic found in yams is known to be beneficial for the gut microflora and is particularly advantageous for diabetic patients’ diet. However, the genetic machinery underlying amylose production remains elusive.

A Conserved DT2‐bZIP66‐NF‐YC4 Regulatory Module Confers Drought Tolerance in Rice and Arabidopsis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies a conserved tripartiteDT2–bZIP66–NF‐YC4 transcriptional module that enhances rice drought tolerance by activating stress‐responsive genes. This regulatory complex is functionally conserved across cereals and Arabidopsis, providing promising targets for engineering drought‐resilient crops. ABSTRACT Drought stress severely restricts
