When purified under rigorous conditions, some murine anti-double-stranded-DNA (anti-dsDNA) antibodies actually bind chromatin rather than dsDNA. This suggests that they may actually be antinucleosome antibodies that only appear to bind dsDNA when they ...

The anti-PLA2R antibody in membranous nephropathy
The discovery in 2009 of the M-type phospholipase A2 receptor (PLA2R) as the primary target in membranous nephropathy (MN) greatly advanced basic and clinical research. Primary MN is now considered a renal-limited autoimmune disease, with antibodies against PLA2R (aPLA2Rab) identified in 70-80 % of patients of various ethnic groups. Although the use of

Analysis of Differentially Expressed Proteins Involved in Shrimp and Crab Allergies
Using proteomics techniques, we identified 90 differentially expressed proteins in children with shrimp and crab allergies compared to normal controls, with 82 upregulated and 8 downregulated proteins. Validation of MRC2 upregulation by ELISA in allergic patients highlights the potential role of this protein in the allergic response.

This clinical experience confirms the efficacy and safety of rivaroxaban for the treatment of thromboembolic events in patients with nephrotic syndrome but also suggests the usefulness of monitoring drug levels when the embolic event occurs during a period of significant proteinuria, such as at the time of nephrotic syndrome diagnosis.

ABSTRACT The global administration of mRNA vaccines in response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) pandemic has been crucial in mitigating the spread of the virus. While these vaccines are generally safe and effective, there have been occasional reports of rare adverse effects, including new‐onset nephropathies. Primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS),

INTRODUCTION:Clinical course of membranous nephropathy (MN) is difficult to predict. Measurement of circulating anti-PLA2R autoantibodies (PLA2R-Ab) and detection in immune deposits of PLA2R antigen (PLA2R-Ag) are major advances in disease understanding.
