Decoding Spatial Heterogeneity and Multi‐Omics Regulation with Hierarchical Graph Learning
ABSTRACT Recent advances in spatial multi‐omics technologies have enabled the simultaneous profiling of multiple molecular layers within the same tissue slice, providing unprecedented opportunities to investigate tissue spatial organization. However, most existing computational methods identify spatial domains in a purely data‐driven manner, rarely ...

A weakly solvating fluorinated cosolvent (1200ET) enables precise solvation‐power regulation in Li–S batteries, decoupling interfacial stabilization from sulfur redox kinetics. This approach suppresses polysulfide dissolution while preserving reaction kinetics, leading to a stable Li metal interface and high‐energy multilayer pouch cells, revealing a ...

Optimal response and covariate-adaptive biased-coin designs for clinical trials with continuous multivariate or longitudinal responses [PDF]
Adaptive randomization of the sequential construction of optimum experimental designs is used to derive biased-coin designs for longitudinal clinical trials with continuous responses.

Flexoelectricity in Photoconversion: Fundamentals, Materials, and Outlooks
Mechanical bending of a flexible cantilever induces a strain gradient in the photoactive material. The resulting flexoelectric field couples with photovoltaic and photoconductive effects, modulating charge generation, separation, and collection. A comparative analysis of oxide perovskites, halide perovskites, and two‐dimensional materials is presented,

Inference following biased coin designs in clinical trials. [PDF]
PhDRandomization schemes for two-treatment clinical trials are studied. Theoretical expressions for the power are derived under both complete randomization and Efron’s biased coin design for normal and binary responses.

Ferroelectric Rashba semiconductors promise ultralow‐power devices but lack industry‐quality films. This work demonstrates CMOS‐compatible fabrication of high‐quality α‐GeTe(111) films via magnetron sputtering, enabled by a 5 nm Sb2Te3 seed layer. Structural and ferroelectric analyses show robust, switchable polarization comparable to MBE films, paving

Rare‐earth catalysts regulate lithium–sulfur battery chemistry through f‐orbital–mediated interactions, enabling simultaneous polysulfide adsorption and catalytic conversion on conductive carbon hosts. This synergistic control suppresses the shuttle effect, accelerates redox kinetics, and guides stable Li2S nucleation, providing a mechanistic framework

A-optimal biased spring balance weighing design [PDF]
summary:In this paper we study the problem of estimation of individual measurements of objects in a biased spring balance weighing design under assumption that the errors are uncorrelated and they have different variances.

Generalized Efron's biased coin design and its theoretical properties
AbstractIn clinical trials with two treatment arms, Efron's biased coin design, Efron (1971), sequentially assigns a patient to the underrepresented arm with probabilityp> ½. Under this design the proportion of patients in any arm converges to ½, and the convergence rate isn-1, as opposed ton-½under some other popular designs.
