Cadherins are a large family of cell–cell adhesion molecules that tether cytoskeletal networks of actin and intermediate filaments to the plasma membrane. This function of cadherins promotes tissue organization and integrity, as demonstrated by numerous disease states that are characterized by the loss of cadherin‐based adhesion.

In this study, micro‐compartmentalization techniques spanning multiple dimensions, including 2D, pseudo‐3D, and 3D, are integrated to uncover the mechanisms underlying ILC dormancy, revealing the central role of p27Kip1.

A bicistronic rAAV8 vector encoding Aflibercept (Afb) and COMP‐cAng1 simultaneously coordinates VEGF clearance and Tie2‐mediated vessel maturation. In a 3D angiogenesis‐on‐a‐chip model, rAAV8‐Afb/cAng1 effectively reverses pathological barrier breakdown under clinical disease‐mimicking challenges.
