Ligand‐specific tuning of CLEC10A signalling strength and dendritic cell responses through engagement of different GalNAc‐containing glycan structures

The authors investigated the effects of various glycan ligands for CLEC10A, a lectin receptor expressed on dendritic cells (DCs). Monocyte‐derived DCs were stimulated with glycan‐conjugated dendrimers in combination with the TLR1/2 ligand Pam3CysK4, and responses were investigated at the mRNA and protein level.

Paroxysmal Nocturnal Haemoglobinuria‐Associated Acute Cutaneous Thrombosis and Haemolysis in the Setting of Parvovirus B19 and Varicella Zoster Virus Infection

ABSTRACT A 28‐year‐old male with paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH) presented with headache, nasal bridge discomfort and haemoglobinuria. He developed a macular‐papular rash which rapidly progressed into purpura, necrosis and peri‐orbital oedema. Investigations demonstrated severe haemolytic anaemia and acute parvovirus B19 infection.

Additionally, chLpMab‐2f inhibited tumor progression in mice with subcutaneously and intrathoracically transplanted human PM cells.
