Whole‐transcriptome sequencing analyses identified exosomal circular RNAs in the plasma of pancreatic cancer patients as novel blood‐based biomarkers of disease

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Pancreatic cancer (PaCa) has a poor prognosis, with low resection rates and high relapse rates, highlighting the urgent need for novel diagnostic biomarkers. Here, we performed whole‐transcriptome sequencing of plasma‐derived exosomes from PaCa patients and identified several differentially expressed circular RNAs (circRNAs).

Invention of circRNA promoting RNA to specifically promote circRNA production

open access: yesNucleic Acids Research
Abstract CircRNA, an essential RNA molecule involved in various biological functions and diseases, often exhibits decreased expression in tumor tissues, playing a role as a tumor suppressor, and suggesting therapeutic potential for cancer. However, current methods for promoting circRNA production are limited.

The Roles of CircRNAs in Mitochondria

open access: yesJournal of Cancer
Mitochondria participate in varieties of cellular events. It is widely accepted that human mitochondrial genome encodes 13 proteins, 2 rRNAs, and 22 tRNAs. Gene variation derived from human nuclear genome cannot completely explain mitochondrial diseases.

Double matrix completion for circRNA-disease association prediction

open access: yes, 2021
Background Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a class of single-stranded RNA molecules with a closed-loop structure. A growing body of research has shown that circRNAs are closely related to the development of diseases. Because biological experiments to verify

In Vitro Sperm–Epididymosomes Interaction Immediately Before Fertilization Changes Sperm Fertility Potential

open access: yesAndrology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Sperm acquire fertility ability during epididymal maturation mainly in the epididymal caput and corpus, and once matured, are stored in the epididymal cauda. During storage, interactions with cauda epididymosomes (epEVs) may influence sperm fertility potential; however, the role of such interactions on sperm fertility remains ...

Integrated Transcriptomic and Functional Analyses Reveal lncRNA‐miRNA‐mRNA Axis in AML Relapse After Allo‐HSCT

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
Transcriptomic profiling of CD34+ cells from AML patients relapsing after allo‐HSCT reveals lncRNA‐driven ceRNA networks, with the SNHG8‐miR‐625‐ZC3H13/15 axis identified as a key relapse‐promoting module through CRISPR screening and single‐cell perturbation.
