THE INHERITANCE OF CONDENSED TANNIN CONCENTRATION IN LENTIL
In lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.) condensed tannins are responsible for seed coat darkening during storage and the associated reduction in crop quality. The vanillin-HCl method was used to measure tannin concentration. Tannins were present only in the seed coat.

STUDIES ON TANNIN CONTENTS OF LOCALLY AVAILABLE TREE LEAVES COMMONLY FED TO GOATS IN KERALA [PDF]
Fourteen different locally available tree leaves, commonly fed to goats were analysed for their chemical composition, total tannins, condensed and hydrolysable tannins. The different tree leaves studied are found to be higher in dry matter, crude protein

Thermo‐sonication parameters were optimized to maximize PPO inactivation while maintaining overall juice quality. ANFIS demonstrated superior predictive accuracy with higher R2 and lower RMSE compared to RSM. Further, the quality assessment of treated juice highlighted the potential of thermo‐sonication as a sustainable alternative to conventional ...
