A hepatic network of dendritic cells mediates CD4 T cell help outside lymphoid organs
While CD4+ T cells are a prerequisite for CD8+ T cell-mediated protection against intracellular hepatotropic pathogens, the mechanisms facilitating the transfer of CD4-help to intrahepatic CD8+ T cells are unknown.

Essential functions of Runx/Cbfβ in gut conventional dendritic cells for priming Rorγt + T cells
Loss of Runx/Cbfβ complexes during DC development leads to a loss of gut CD103 + CD11b + cDC2s, which was accompanied with impaired differentiation of both Rorγt + Th17 cells and type 3 Rorγt + Treg cells.

A new class of photoresponsive liquid‐crystalline (LC) adhesives based on biomineral‐inspired organic/inorganic colloidal hybrids is reported. These colloidal LC materials are formed by hybridization of a hydroxyapatite nanorod with azobenzene‐based forklike molecules.

A low‐viscosity, soft‐solvating methyl ethanoate (ME)‐based electrolyte facilitates electrolyte infiltration into dense dry‐processed ultra‐thick NCM622 cathodes while reducing Li+ desolvation barriers at Li‐metal anodes. Balanced cathode‐scale ion transport and anode‐side interfacial kinetics mitigate concentration polarization and interfacial ...

An atomically dispersed Ni catalyst featuring Ni‐N4 coordination is developed as a sulfur host for nonaqueous Zn─S batteries. This configuration modulates the electronic structure to lower activation barriers during rate‐limiting steps and promotes a robust ZnF2‐rich cathode‐electrolyte interphase, thereby accelerating sulfur redox kinetics ...

Langerin+CD8+ Dendritic Cells in the Splenic Marginal Zone: Not So Marginal After All
Dendritic cells (DC) fulfill an essential sentinel function within the immune system, acting at the interface of innate and adaptive immunity. The DC family, both in mouse and man, shows high functional heterogeneity in order to orchestrate immune ...

Nanoemulsion delivery of a TLR7 agonist enhances safety and promotes colocalization with Leishmania‐infected macrophages in skin lesions, enabling a ∼2‐log reduction in parasite burden. However, tissue‐level constraints and TLR‐driven regulatory feedback generate a mixed immune response that limits complete parasite clearance.

Regulatory T cells diminish transmission of HIV from Dendritic cells to conventional CD4+ T cells
Formation of immunological synapses between dendritic cells (DC) and conventional CD4+ T cells (Tcon) is critical for productive immune responses. However, when DCs are HIV-infected such synapses are critical to establish HIV infection.
