MTF Measurement of the Lens on the KITSAT-1 Earth Imaging System [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 1994
The KITSAT-1(August, 1992) and the KITSAT-2(September, 1993) were successfully launched and operated by the SatRec(Satellite Research Center). Both carry the CCD cameras to monitor the image of the earth. We used the camera bench type automatic equipment

Kadmium dan Efeknya terhadap Ekspresi Protein Metallothionein pada Deadema Setosum (Echinoidea; Echinodermata) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012

Effective Hamiltonian for striped and paired states at the half-filled Landau level

open access: yes, 2000
We study a pairing mechanism for the quantum Hall system using a mean field theory with a basis on the von Neumann lattice, on which the magnetic translations commute.

Induction of FPN1 transcription by MTF-1 reveals a role for ferroportin in transition metal efflux

open access: yesBlood, 2010
Ferroportin (Fpn) is the only known iron exporter in vertebrate cells and plays a critical role in iron homeostasis regulating cytosolic iron levels and exporting iron to plasma. Ferroportin1 (FPN1) expression can be transcriptionally regulated by iron as well as other transition metals.

A Cross‐Disease Microglial Transcriptional Program Characterizes Neurodegeneration and Highlights SPP1 as a Biomarker

open access: yesGlia, Volume 74, Issue 6, June 2026.
Distinct microglial subpopulations are depicted, highlighting variations in gene expression and functional roles in response to specific disease conditions and the complexity of microglial activation and differentiation in neurodegeneration. ABSTRACT Microglial cells are key players in maintaining brain homeostasis and responding to pathological ...

Loss of qE Does Not Necessarily Lead to Photoinhibition: Sustained Non‐Photochemical Quenching in the Absence of PsbS and Zeaxanthin

open access: yesPlant, Cell &Environment, Volume 49, Issue 6, Page 3405-3425, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Photosynthetic light‐harvesting complexes mediate light absorption and energy dissipation. By modulating the photosystems' absorption cross‐section, they affect both photosynthetic activity and non‐photochemical quenching (NPQ). These processes are often studied by spectrally integrated chlorophyll fluorescence, masking their associated ...

Deep learning “super resolution” versus iterative reconstruction: Phantom‐based image quality assessment

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 27, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract Background Deep learning reconstruction (DLR) algorithms have begun replacing iterative reconstruction (IR) in CT. Besides the potential to reduce noise, the application of artificial intelligence can also allow for “super resolution,” allowing traditional CT systems to produce images with improved spatial resolution by training against higher‐
