Naringin attenuates acute myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury via miR- 126/GSK-3β/β-catenin signaling pathway

open access: yesActa Cirúrgica Brasileira, 2022
Introduction: Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury is one of the mechanisms contributing to the high mortality rate of acute myocardial infarction. Purpose: This study intended to study the role of naringin in cardiac I/R injury.

Naringin attenuates oxidative stress, inflammation, apoptosis, and oxidative DNA damage in acrylamide-induced nephrotoxicity in rats

open access: yesAsian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine, 2022
Objective: To explore the possible effects of naringin on acrylamide-induced nephrotoxicity in rats. Methods: Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 200-250 g were randomly divided into five groups. The control group was given intragastric (i.g.) saline (1 mL) for

Naringin Glycosides α-Glucosylated on Ring B Found in the Natural Food Additive, Enzymatically Modified Naringin [PDF]

open access: yesBioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry, 2000
The constituents of the natural food additive, enzymatically modified naringin, were structurally analyzed. Four constituents were isolated from the glucoamylase-treated sample. An NMR analysis revealed that two of them were novel compounds having 4'-O-alpha-glucosyl moieties on ring B of the naringenin aglycone.

Optimization of Naringin Extraction, Synthesis of Dihydrochalcone and Its Effects on Reducing Blood Lipid Levels In Vitro

open access: yesMolecules
Response surface methodology (RSM) was used to optimize the extraction process of naringin. The central component design included three parameters of extraction, namely temperature (X1), solid–liquid ratio (X2), and extraction time (X3).
