CCL20 Released by Drug–Tolerant Persisters Impairs Immunotherapy in EGFR–Mutant Lung Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
Schematic representation of tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) modulation by combined anti‐PD‐1 and anti‐CCL20 therapies. Left: In the “cold” tumor TIME, high CCL20 secretion by drug‐tolerant persister (DTP) cancer cell subpopulations promotes regulatory T cell (Treg) enrichment and clusters in close proximity to tumor cells, resulting in immune ...

Harnessing Natural Compounds in Psoriasis: Targeting Cellular Pathways for Effective Therapy

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, Volume 40, Issue 8, Page 4759-4791, August 2026.
Natural compounds act on key cellular pathways in psoriasis by suppressing keratinocyte hyperproliferation, modulating Th17/IL‐17‐mediated immune responses, and reducing oxidative stress. These multi‐target effects highlight their potential as safer adjunctive therapies alongside conventional treatments.

Single Cell and Spatially Resolved Transcriptome and Immune Repertoire of Mouse Thymus During Aging Reveal Immunological Heterogeneity and Direction of Thymic Selection Pressure

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 8, August 2026.
A systemic single‐cell and spatially‐resolved transcriptomics and TCR sequencing analysis across the aging thymus dissects the molecular underpinnings of T cell subset dynamics. The study highlights the shifting proportions and transcriptomic profiles of T cell subsets during aging.

A cDC1‐NK/T‐Malignant Cell Circuit Drives Immunogenic Remodeling Under PD‐1 Blockade in Gastric Cancer

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 117, Issue 8, Page 2098-2114, August 2026.
Chemotherapy combined with nivolumab reshapes the gastric cancer tumor microenvironment (TME) and is accompanied by an enrichment of reduced cytotoxicity NK (RC‐NK) cells. Rather than acting as classical cytotoxic effectors, these RC‐NK cells appear to shape the TME by promoting an immunostimulatory circuit that engages adaptive immunity.
