This study presents a multimatrix untargeted metabolomics analysis of fecal, plasma, and urine samples from individuals at high risk for pancreatic cancer development. Integrated multivariate and cofactor‐adjusted models were applied to characterize cross‐matrix metabolomic associations, incorporating pancreatic magnetic resonance imaging data, sex ...

Palmitoylethanolamide Ameliorates Carbon Tetrachloride-Induced Liver Fibrosis in Rats
Background: Liver fibrosis is a complex inflammatory and fibrogenic process, and the progression of fibrosis leads to cirrhosis. The only therapeutic approaches are the removal of injurious stimuli and liver transplantation. Therefore, the development of

Cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabigerol (CBG) alleviate hepatic steatosis in obese mice by shifting energy buffering towards phosphocreatine and enhancing lysosomal lipid degradation and trafficking. These effects are associated with increased creatine kinase activity and lysobisphosphatidic acid (LBPA) levels, highlighting a previously unrecognised ...

A Novel Function of Nonadecanoic Acid in Regulating Glucose Homeostasis
This study identifies the odd‐chain fatty acid C19:0 as an endogenous ligand of GPR120 that promotes glucose homeostasis via Gαq signaling. In obesity, elevated palmitic acid suppresses endogenous C19:0 production through a miRNA–PPARα–HACL1 pathway, offering a promising direction for understanding the role of OCFAs in human health.

Innovative Nanoparticles Enhance N-Palmitoylethanolamide Intraocular Delivery [PDF]
Nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) loaded with palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) were formulated with the aim to enhance ocular bioavailability of PEA, particularly to the back of the eye. Technological characterization (e.g., size, charge) of NLC loaded with PEA formulation (PEA-NLC) was performed, and NLC morphology was characterized by electron ...

PD can act on the CXCL3/CXCR2 axis, thereby inhibiting migration and activation of microglia and neutrophils, and thus alleviating the inflammatory response associated with CIRI, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic agent for CIRI. ABSTRACT Aim The aim of this study is to investigate the precise mechanisms by which Polydatin (PD) ameliorates ...
