Polyethylene glycolated PAMAM dendrimers-Efavirenz conjugates

open access: yesInternational Journal of Pharmaceutical Investigation, 2014
The preparation of novel PEGylated PAMAM (poly-amidoamine) dendrimers for delivery of anti-HIV drug Efavirenz is reported.About 5.0 G PAMAM dendrimers are prepared by ethylene diamine core via Michael addition by divergent method. PEGylation is done by polyethylene glycol 600 using epichlorhydrin as linker.

Intrinsic Fluorescence of PAMAM Dendrimers—Quenching Studies [PDF]

open access: yesPolymers, 2018
Intrinsic, non-traditional fluorescence of polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimers that do not possess classical fluorophores has been attracting considerable interest for the last decade. Many hypotheses regarding the source of the fluorescence have appeared, but some of them are still disputable.

The application of poly(amidoamine) dendrimers for modification of jute yarns: Preparation and dyeing properties

open access: yesJournal of Saudi Chemical Society, 2015
In this study, poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) G-2 dendrimer was used for jute yarn. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) revealed that all carbonyl groups of jute fibers reacted with amino groups of polyamidoamine dendrimers.
