Successful Application of the Mast Cell Activation Test in Immediate Hypersensitivity to Amoxicillin

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
This study included 28 amoxicillin‐allergic patients and 11 healthy exposed controls. Mast cells were differentiated from CD34+ progenitors over 8 weeks using cytokine cocktails. The mast cell activation test involved sensitization with patient or control sera and stimulation with free amoxicillin or G4/G5‐AXO dendrimers with successfully activated ...

Nucleic Acid Carriers Based on Precise Polymer Conjugates [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Polymer polydispersity, random conjugation of functional groups, and poorly understood structure–activity relationships have constantly hampered progress in the development of nucleic acid carriers.

Ligand‐specific tuning of CLEC10A signalling strength and dendritic cell responses through engagement of different GalNAc‐containing glycan structures

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
The authors investigated the effects of various glycan ligands for CLEC10A, a lectin receptor expressed on dendritic cells (DCs). Monocyte‐derived DCs were stimulated with glycan‐conjugated dendrimers in combination with the TLR1/2 ligand Pam3CysK4, and responses were investigated at the mRNA and protein level.

The effect of PAMAM dendrimer concentration, generation size and surface functional group on the aqueous solubility of candesartan cilexetil

open access: yesPharmaceutical development and technology (Print), 2017
This article investigates the aqueous solubility of the poorly soluble drug candesartan cilexetil (CC) in the presence of poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimers. The effect of variables such as concentration, generation size (G2–G4), and surface groups (NH2,

Targeting TNBC: core–shell polycationic polyurea dendrimers with inherent anticancer activity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, Volume 16, Issue 5, Page 944-965, May 2026.
Core–shell polycationic PURE dendrimers were tested in TNBC‐derived tumor models. Both formulations selectively targeted TNBC and effectively reduced tumor volume. PUREG4‐OEI48 suppressed tumor growth without detectable toxicity, whereas PUREG4‐OCEI24, despite showing efficacy, induced hepatic toxicity.

Comparison of MRI properties between multimeric DOTAGA and DO3A gadolinium-dendron conjugates [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The inherent lack of sensitivity of MRI needs the development of new Gd contrast agents in order to extend 20Hz,37%, the application of this technique to cellular imaging.

Dendrimer modified SWCNTs for High Efficient Delivery and Intracellular Imaging of survivin siRNA

open access: yesNano Biomedicine and Engineering, 2013
Herein we reported that polyamidoamine dendrimer (PAMAM) modified single walled carbon nanotubes (PSWCNTs) were successfully used for high efficient delivery and intracellular imaging of survivin siRNA vector.

A Versatile Polymer‐Based In Situ Nanovaccine to Boost Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 5, May 2026.
A polymer‐based in situ nanovaccine (PCR‐NPs) orchestrates a powerful antitumor immune cascade via integrated antigen release, capture, and lymph nodes transport, eliciting potent CD8+ T cell responses that drive significant tumor inhibition and prolonged mice survival in murine tumor models.

PAMAM dendrimer: a pH-controlled nanosponge [PDF]

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Chemistry, 2017
Using fully atomistic molecular dynamics simulation that are several hundred nanoseconds long, we demonstrate the pH-controlled sponge action of PAMAM dendrimer. We show how at varying pH levels, the PAMAM dendrimer acts as a wet sponge; at neutral or low pH levels, the dendrimer expands noticeably and the interior of the dendrimer opens up to host ...
