Engineering Gold Nanoparticle Interaction by PAMAM Dendrimer

open access: yes, 2016
Bare faceted gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) have a tendency to aggregate through a preferred attachment of the [111] surfaces. We have used fully atomistic classical molecular dynamics simulations to obtain a quantitative estimate of this surface interaction

Molecular dynamics study of pH-responsive PAMAM dendrimer–topotecan complex: loading mechanism, membrane transport, and release mechanism

open access: yesResults in Surfaces and Interfaces
The clinical efficacy of topotecan (TPT) is limited by its instability and rapid clearance, motivating the search for nanoscale carriers capable of enhancing its delivery.

Targeting TNBC: core–shell polycationic polyurea dendrimers with inherent anticancer activity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, Volume 16, Issue 5, Page 944-965, May 2026.
Core–shell polycationic PURE dendrimers were tested in TNBC‐derived tumor models. Both formulations selectively targeted TNBC and effectively reduced tumor volume. PUREG4‐OEI48 suppressed tumor growth without detectable toxicity, whereas PUREG4‐OCEI24, despite showing efficacy, induced hepatic toxicity.

PAMAM dendrimer derivatives as a potential drug for antithrombotic therapy

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 2013
Platelets are anucleated blood cells that play an important role both in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and subsequent thrombosis. Dendrimers have attracted great interest in biomedical applications. However, their interactions with cell compounds and compartments are nonselective, thus causing cytotoxicity and hemotoxicity.

Ötödik generációs PAMAM dendrimer és grafén-oxid kölcsönhatásának vizsgálata

open access: yes, 2018

open access: yes, 2020
A dendrimerek szabályos, faágszerűen elágazó szerkezettel rendelkező mesterséges makromolekulák. Munkám során egy ötödik generációs, etilén-diamin (EDA) magvú poli(amido-amin) (PAMAM) dendrimer karboximetilezett származékának vizsgálatával foglalkoztam ...

Interaction of a Hydrophobic-Functionalized PAMAM Dendrimer with Bovine Serum Albumin: Thermodynamic and Structural Changes

open access: yes, 2016
The interaction between a hydrophobic-functionalized PAMAM dendrimer (PAMAM-NH2-C12, 25%, G4) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) has been investigated by circular dichroism (CD), UV–vis, and fluorescence spectroscopic methods and molecular modeling.
