Enhancing Mechanical and Electrochemical Stability of EDLC Electrodes via Crosslinked Polysaccharide Binder Blends. [PDF]
Cross‐linked polysaccharide binders derived from potato starch and xanthan gum enable fully water processed EDLC electrodes with improved mechanical integrity and long‐term electrochemical stability at high voltage. ABSTRACT Advancing sustainable energy storage technologies has increased the focus on water processable binders for high‐performance ...

Keto-Enol Tautomerism in Passerini and Ugi Adducts
The use of arylglyoxal as starting material in Passerini and Ugi reactions affords β-ketoamides. This has allowed to study keto-enol tautomerism in these systems and assess the way in which the presence of acyloxy or aminoacyl groups bound to the C2 ...

Turn-Induction in Peptides Incorporating Novel Cyrene-Derived α,α-Disubstituted Amino Acid. [PDF]
Novel chiral cyrene‐derived Cyr residues were incorporated into peptides. The α,α‐disubstituted amino acid residue was introduced using the Ugi reaction. X‐ray crystallographic analysis of R‐ and S‐Cyr residues indicated preference to adopt left‐ and right‐handed α‐helical conformations, respectively.

Passerini-type reaction of boronic acids enables α-hydroxyketones synthesis
Multicomponent reactions enable the rapid construction of diverse molecular scaffolds with modularity and step economy. In this work, the authors report the use of boronic acids as carbon nucleophiles in a Passerini-type three-component coupling reaction
