Frequent NPM1 mutation, monoblastic/monocytic origin and prognostic significance of organ and system involvement in myeloid sarcoma: a multicenter study

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology: Clinical Research, Volume 12, Issue 2, March 2026.
Abstract Myeloid sarcoma (MS) is a tumorous extramedullary proliferation of blast or blast equivalent cells (e.g., promonocytes or promyelocytes). The most frequent cutaneous presentation is often referred to as leukemia cutis (LC). These lesions, especially without the clinical context of a known bone marrow disease, pose a differential diagnostic ...

Chemomechanical Origin of Morphological Disparity in Lithium Metal Electrodeposition

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 16, 17 March 2026.
Selective dissociation of either solvent or salt on copper current collector induced different solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) layers. The solvent derived organic SEI favors formation of Li whisker, while salt derived SEI favors formation of Li particle, revealing the root cause of Li morphology disparity within the same cell.

Tunable Plasmonic Response of Silver Nanoparticles Entangled in Detonation Nanodiamond Network via Colloidal Self‐Assembly

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 6, 16 March 2026.
Detonation nanodiamonds form a network that entangles silver nanoparticles into stable nanocomplexes. The structure can fine‐tune and enhance plasmonic absorption through nearfield electromagnetic interactions but prevents silver particle aggregation. The study shows how the arrangement and concentration of particles affect light absorption, offering a

Smart SPR Biosensors: Machine Learning‐Augmented Dual‐Channel PCF Technology

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.
The biosensor shows outstanding performance over a wide refractive index range (1.33–1.45), with wavelength sensitivity of 32 000 nm/RIU, amplitude sensitivity of 2338 RIU−1, and spectral resolution of 3.13 × 10−6 RIU. We present a modern dual‐channel surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor that combines advanced photonic crystal fiber (PCF) design ...

A Link Between Allergy and Hematological Malignancies? Focus on Possible Mechanisms and the Potential Role of Biological Therapies

open access: yesClinical and Translational Allergy, Volume 16, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Immune dysregulation has been widely recognized in the international literature as an underlying condition for hematological malignancies and allergic disorders. This commonality has led researchers to study the potential association, positive or negative, between blood cancers and allergy, but the results remain unclear.
