Cytoplasmic function of mutant promyelocytic leukemia (PML) and PML-retinoic acid receptor-α

open access: yes, 2006
The promyelocytic leukemia (PML) tumor suppressor of acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) regulates major apoptotic and growth-suppressive pathways. In APL, PML is involved in a chromosomal translocation generating the PML-retinoic acid receptor-{alpha ...

Real‐World Safety and Effectiveness of Glatiramer Acetate in Patients With Multiple Sclerosis: Final Results of Post‐Marketing Surveillance in Japan

open access: yesNeurology and Clinical Neuroscience, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Glatiramer acetate is an injectable disease‐modifying therapy indicated for multiple sclerosis (MS). Aim To evaluate the real‐world safety and effectiveness of glatiramer acetate for MS in Japan. Methods A prospective, multicenter, observational, all‐case post‐marketing survey was conducted in Japan between November 2015 and March ...

Role PML v ribosomálním stresu [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
PML je zapojen do řady buněčných procesů. Je organizátorem subjaderných struktur zvaných jaderná tělíska PML a asociuje s jadérkem při odpovědi na ribozomální stres tvorbou jadérkových struktur PML (PNAs).

FL‐Offshore: A Federated Learning Framework for Predictive Maintenance in Brazilian Offshore Production Scenario

open access: yesArtificial Intelligence for Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Offshore oil production in Brazil relies on Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units, where failures in rotating machinery motivate machine learning–based predictive maintenance. Centralised training is impractical due to privacy constraints, heterogeneous and highly imbalanced local datasets and unreliable satellite ...

Cytoplasmic function of mutant PML and PML-RARalpha

open access: yes, 2006
The promyelocytic leukemia (PML) tumor suppressor of acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) regulates major apoptotic and growth-suppressive pathways. In APL, PML is involved in a chromosomal translocation generating the PML-retinoic acid receptor-{alpha} (RAR{alpha}) fusion protein. Two missense mutations in the remaining PML alleles have been identified,

Robust Partial Multi‐Label Learning Under Dual Noise via Joint Subspace Learning

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Partial Multi‐label Learning (PML) deals with the ambiguity where each instance is annotated with a set of candidate labels, and only a subset of which is valid. While existing PML methods focus primarily on label disambiguation, they often rely on the assumption of a clean feature space.

Update on Non‐Biological and RNA‐Based Therapeutics in Chronic Inflammatory Diseases: Precision Medicine Through Small Molecules: An EAACI Position Paper

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In the last decades, critical advancements in research technology and knowledge on disease mechanisms steered therapeutic approaches for chronic inflammatory diseases towards unprecedented target specificity. For allergic and chronic lung diseases, biologic drugs pioneered this goal, acquiring on the way—through the clinical use of monoclonal ...

The effect of Changjiang discharge on mid-term variability of chlorophyll-a concentration in the Northeast Asia

open access: yes, 2014
The Changjiang River, the longest river in Asia, is major a source of nutrient and freshwater for the East China Sea (ECS). Many previous studies reported that the Changjiang Diluted Water (CDW) affects the chlorophyll-a (chl-a) concentration of the ECS ...

Lupus Panniculitis Immunoprofiling Reveals a Cytotoxic, Type 1‐Skewed T‐Cell Response With Signs of Metabolic Alteration

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
Imaging mass cytometry shows lupus panniculitis lesions are dominated by cytotoxic and skin‐homing T cells with abundant macrophages and B‐cell aggregates. Spatial neighborhood analysis reveals organized leukocyte architecture, including B‐cell proximity to naïve T cells and M1 macrophages to cytotoxic T cells.
