In sepsis‐induced liver injury, marked neutrophil infiltration correlates with disease severity. Neutrophil SLC11A1 drives intracellular Fe2+ and ROS via the Fenton reaction, promoting NETs formation. Hepatocyte‐derived CXCL10 recruits neutrophils and activates the JAK/STAT1/SLC11A1 axis, enhancing NETs‐mediated inflammation.

A nebulized nanoassembly alleviates radiation‐induced lung injury by reprogramming macrophages through coordinated ROS scavenging, NAD+ replenishment, and PPAR‐γ activation. Redox balance, mitochondrial homeostasis, and immune regulation are restored, revealing a microenvironment‐centered strategy for localized radioprotection.

In non‐tumorous lung tissues, FOXN3 promotes the transcriptional activation of p53 by facilitating its recruitment to target promoters, thereby suppressing lung tumorigenesis through activation of the p53 signaling pathway. Conversely, in lung adenocarcinoma tissues, hyperphosphorylated FOXN3 dissociates from the promoters of p53‐responsive genes and ...

LRRC4 suppresses GBM by regulating AP2A1‐containing Golgi‐derived clathrin‐coated vesicles. Low LRRC4 allows cytoplasmic AP2A1 to maintain mitochondrial fission‐fusion, MICOS integrity, and OXPHOS, promoting proliferation and invasion. High LRRC4 redirects AP2A1‐containing Golgi‐derived clathrin‐coated vesicles to mitochondria, disrupts MICOS, enhances

ABSTRACT Gastric cancer (GC) is a major global health concern, as its prevention and treatment remain significant challenges. The 8‐oxoguanine (o8G) modification of circRNAs, alongside their capacity to orchestrate liquid‐liquid phase separation (LLPS) and autophagy, plays a pivotal role in driving tumor progression and determining therapeutic outcomes.

Aberrant GALNT7‐mediated O‐GalNAcylation stabilizes TAZ to drive gallbladder cancer progression through a feed‐forward transcriptional loop. Structure‐based screening identifies Olaparib as a potent GALNT7 antagonist that disrupts this oncogenic axis, providing an immediate therapeutic strategy for this aggressive malignancy.

In the pathological context of osteoarthritis (OA), the phosphorylation of AKT1 at Ser473 enhances its binding to Lys140 of Insig1, which facilitates the formation of AKT1–Insig1 complex. Subsequently, the activation of AKT1 promotes the phosphorylation of Insig1 at Ser189, potentially enhancing the dissociation of Insig1 from sterol regulatory element‑

Protein translocation in apoptosis
Trends in Cell Biology, 1999In programmed cell death (apoptosis), receptor-generated or other signals are transmitted to all cellular compartments, resulting in an apoptotic cell with extensive cytoplasmic and nuclear alterations. Protein translocation is now recognized as being crucial in the induction, amplification and regulation of this process.

The Sec protein-translocation pathway
Trends in Microbiology, 2001The Sec machinery (or translocase) provides a major pathway of protein translocation from the cytosol across the cytoplasmic membrane in bacteria. The SecA ATPase interacts dynamically with the SecYEG integral membrane components to drive the transmembrane movement of newly synthesized preproteins.
